The Coordinator, Digital Marketing will contribute to the Digital Marketing team in planning, building, and executing brand strategies and tactics that help achieve business goals and build the future fan pipeline. The Coordinator will provide input on the development of the digital strategy and execute tactics across platforms and campaigns to increase traffic to our website, app, and email with the goal of increasing followership and engagement, and drive brand-healthy revenue. This role will work cross functionally among the digital marketing team and various departments to reach fans and publish content across digital platforms. Key metrics used to evaluate performance: User growth across Email, App, and Site platforms Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities**): Responsible for day-to-day digital execution of Lakers campaigns, such as building emails, app updates, assisting with content creation, and updating the website. Work with the digital marketing team to set objectives and strategies; and measure and report KPIs for Lakers and South Bay Lakers digital platforms Assist developing, implementing and managing product marketing strategy across web, email, and app to grow user base and engagement, both domestically and internationally Assist with building digital marketing campaigns in support of ticketing, merchandise, and fan engagement initiatives Work cross functionally to build result-driven digital campaigns Responsible for understanding fans, their behaviors and architecting the customer's journey to understand how to improve their experience across digital marketing products and platforms Analyze content performance with business intelligence team to understand fan preferences across digital products Assist with legal documentation and data compliance needs **Responsibilities subject to change based on organizational needs and direction from management. Education (Required/ Preferred): Bachelor's degree (required) in marketing, advertising or communications. Advanced education is preferred A minimum of three (3) years working in digital marketing Knowledge of digital analytics and how to interpret data to make actionable recommendations Experience in A/B and multivariate testing Technology Capabilities: Experience with HTML and email marketing Experience with CMS platforms Experience with project management tools Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Sharepoint) Project Management Software (Jira, Trello, Wrike) A systems thinker who has a passion for websites, apps, emerging technology, and everything digital Understanding of design, copy, app, and website best practices and guidelines Strong understanding of marketing planning and execution, with an eye toward holistic campaigns Understanding of marketing insights, strategy, media, creative and digital Ability to develop and implement channel specific tactics to serve broader campaign objectives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interface with employees at all levels within the organization, and bridge gaps between departments to create better synergies and internal buy-in Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make instant, quality decisions A logical approach to problem solving and detailed-oriented Stay ahead of technologies and the most current web, app and digital design trends A passion for basketball and sports business Physical Demands: N/A Location: El Segundo (offices M-F), downtown Los Angeles ( Arena for Laker home games as needed), and other occasional off-site events Travel: Up to 10% of the time Hours: This position requires constant attention due to the continuous nature of the news cycle. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Hybrid work schedule (Mon-Fri). The pay range for this role is $23.00 to $26.00 per hour.
