Unity Software Engineer Augmented Reality £35,000 to £40,000 p.a. Products include scalable AR experiences and bundles for clients in the UK and abroad. Job Description We are a creative services company focused on developing Augmented Reality solutions for a variety of industries, including tourism and retail. Our goal is to revolutionize the way people interact with digital content by creating immersive and engaging experiences for public spaces or transportation systems. We are seeking a highly motivated cloud software engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure its efficiency, reliability, and scalability. You will work closely with our immersive software engineering team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our AR applications. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Yellow Design's cloud infrastructure that can support AR projects and ensure its efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Lead the development of new products in AR and cloud-based applications. Develop and implement cloud security protocols to safeguard our data and AR applications. Collaborate with the software engineering team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our AR applications. Identify and recommend new cloud technologies and services that can enhance our overall cloud infrastructure. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in Unity and cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Experience with DevOps and agile practices. If necessary, you must have a valid work permit/visa in place allowing you to work legally in Northern Ireland. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Experience with Immersive Technologies (AR) and Unity programming. Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Strong knowledge of cloud security protocols and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
