Job Summary The Azure Solutions Architect will play a critical role in delivering customer-facing services that define and drive cloud-based initiatives. This position involves strategizing, designing, and implementing solutions to assist our customers in their transition to the Public Cloud. The architect will be responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platforms essential for cloud computing while ensuring secure integration with existing applications. Role Description Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing cloud solutions, covering network architecture, security frameworks, governance, and connectivity. Performing extensive design and implementation activities, including system migration and engineering. Leading technical projects as the subject matter expert, ensuring successful delivery. Creating technical roadmaps for future cloud initiatives on Public Cloud platforms. Managing and troubleshooting Cloud services deployment. Utilizing scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and documentation. Conducting business case analysis for potential projects. Ensuring security is embedded in all cloud architecture solutions. Developing Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with client requirements and business goals. Driving revenue growth through identifying new opportunities within professional services. Engaging with SHI's sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Contributing to practice development by identifying growth areas and maintaining service standards. Building and nurturing relationships with key clients for high satisfaction and retention. Analyzing current business processes and providing recommendations for improvement. Evaluating hardware and software standards, offering relevant technology recommendations. Staying current with emerging technologies to phase out obsolete solutions and suggest new options. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should possess: A completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting solutions within Azure. Willingness to travel occasionally. A thorough understanding of cloud systems development, including SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS. Deep knowledge of cloud computing technologies and delivery models. Experience with infrastructure elements and orchestration tools to create cloud solutions. Prior experience migrating workloads and managing software in the Public Cloud. Certifications Preferred certifications include: AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-305 Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions Azure Solutions Architect Expert The base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $145,000, with on-target earnings estimated between $145,000 and $180,000.
