Job Title: Senior Application Developer (Java) Location: St. Pete, FL (Hybrid) Duration: Long term Contract Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate development activities for geographically dispersed teams, delivering applications with medium to large complexities. Communicate effectively, demonstrating excellent organizational and project management skills, and foster team collaboration. Establish strategic partnerships with business and technology leaders across organizations. Guide technology discussions, including architecture, design, and performance optimization, setting the technical direction for the teams. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills: Experience and Skills: Develop scalable, distributed, and highly responsive financial applications using Java, REST/Micro Services, Angular (or similar SPA JS framework), Asynchronous Messaging, Oracle, and related technologies. Must have hands-on experience in design and development. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and related concepts. Keywords: Education: Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field. Notes from the hiring manager: Building third-party APIs for independent advisors. Strong core enterprise Java middle-tier services, Angular experience, JDBC, JSF, MVC, Spring, Spring Boot, and Oracle on the backend are required. Must be local to Tampa Bay for hybrid work.
