We are seeking a skilled AWS Application Developer to support and enhance Centene's Amazon Connect Telephony environment. This role involves backend development, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and scalability of telephony services across Centene's various products and business lines. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS development experience, particularly with serverless and CI/CD technologies, and be capable of taking a leadership role in development best practices. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and maintain backend software solutions supporting Amazon Connect Provide production support and troubleshoot issues related to Amazon Connect backend code Collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements Attend daily team meetings, contribute to discussions, and mentor junior developers Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and CodePipeline Contribute to system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the telephony platform Participate in long-term strategic initiatives with stretch goals toward IT architecture roles Required Skills: 5-7 years of overall software development experience Minimum 3-4 years of experience in AWS application development Strong expertise in AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, API Gateway, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudFormation, IAM, Amazon Connect, Lex, SSM, Parameter Store Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) and CI/CD practices Familiarity with Docker, AWS SAM, and Terraform Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead development efforts Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Preferred Skills: Experience in healthcare industry projects Exposure to enterprise architecture or interest in moving towards an architectural career path Familiarity with Change Management and Enterprise Architecture principles AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (preferred, but required at minimum) Certifications: Preferred: Additional AWS specialty certifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Equivalent experience may be considered Email ID * This field is required Please enter valid emailId.
