Our client, a leading player in the technology industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the logistics support team, ensuring smooth operations within the data center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to tasks, which will align successfully with the organization. Location: Onsite - Northlake, IL - 60164 Duration: 6 - 18 Months (W2 Contract) Pay Range: $25 - $28/hr. + Benefits & PTO Regular Business Hours (Mo-Fr) What's the Job? Monitor the system for equipment failures or performance errors. Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating the program as necessary. Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs. Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports. Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring detailed inventory tracking. What's Needed? High School Diploma AND 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain or a related field. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Previous experience working in a data center environment. Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training is preferred.
