Position: Medical Business Systems Analyst

Location: MacDill Air Force Base, Florida OR Joint Base San Antonio- Fort Sam Houston, Texas

Position Description:

The Medical Business Systems Analyst shall support the performance of work within the Medical and Materiel communities of interest. This role involves comprehensive analysis of user needs and system capabilities, with the objective of developing technical solutions that meet operational requirements. The analyst will be responsible for defining system scope and objectives, translating business needs into system requirements, and consulting on complex, high-visibility projects that impact the broader business and operational environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and an in-depth understanding of business systems and industry practices. Analyze complex operational and system challenges by evaluating equipment capacity, performance constraints, operational timelines, and desired output. Document user and business requirements, and translate them into formal system specifications. Devise or modify procedures to resolve problems through technology-driven solutions that align with mission objectives. Provide consultation across multiple projects; function as a top-level subject matter expert for various phases of systems analysis. Evaluate the implications of applying technology in both current and future operational environments. Required Certifications:

Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) Coder Certification or Equivalent is

mandatory Security and Installation Access Requirements:

Must comply with all installation and facility access requirements, including background investigations coordinated through the Provost Marshal Office or Security Office. Must meet

Common Access Card (CAC)

eligibility standards, including Tier 1 or higher investigation and DEERS enrollment via the Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS). Must complete all required security and compliance training including: -Level I Antiterrorism (AT) Awareness

-iWATCH Army Awareness Training

-Information Assurance (IA) Training

-OPSEC Level I Training

Must sign and adhere to Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) for all Government information systems, and maintain compliance with COMSEC, PII handling, and DoD Information Assurance requirements.
