We’re looking for an experienced CISO to provide strategic cybersecurity leadership across multiple SME clients. You'll work directly with business leaders to strengthen their security posture and guide them through audits, compliance, and incident readiness. This is an ideal side role if you have bandwidth beyond your day job and it is flexible, high-impact, and well-compensated across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead cybersecurity strategy aligned with business risk and regulatory needs. Act as a trusted advisor to boards and senior leadership on threat posture and data protection. Build and operationalize governance policies, including PDPA, MAS TRM, CSA Cyber Essentials. Oversee incident response, threat detection, and breach management processes. Guide secure cloud adoption, vendor risk reviews, and identity/access controls. Design staff awareness and cyber hygiene programs that reduce human-related risks. Ensure client audit readiness, defensible policies, and demonstrable cyber maturity. Requirements
10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience. Strong experience with PDPA, MAS TRM, ISO 27001, and NIST. CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred. Board-level communication and executive presence.
