Job Summary: The Risk Technology team designs, integrates, and supports Middle Office Risk systems globally, supporting Market and Credit Risk management across EMEA, North America, and Asia Pacific. The team utilizes third-party S&P Global FRA simulation and pricing engines, integrated with in-house .NET applications. Due to evolving regulations and industry changes, the Risk Technology infrastructure is undergoing large-scale updates, including cloud adoption and system consolidation to improve efficiency and standardization. The successful candidate will support the Risk IT platform, working directly with business users to implement enhancements and meet regulatory demands. Technologies involved include MS SQL Server, C#, Python, and MS Azure. Key Responsibilities: This role involves responsibilities across MUFG's banking and securities businesses under a dual-hat arrangement, acting on behalf of both entities with the same authority. Design and develop solutions for risk management systems. Gather requirements from Risk Management and related areas. Create technical scope and test documentation. Coordinate change control, testing, and releases. Support users and resolve issues. Liaise with third-party software vendors. Maintain production environments. Technical Competencies: Strong skills in C#, .NET Core, SQL Server. Experience with .NET Core Web API, Azure Data Lake, Docker, TeamCity, Jira, GitHub, Visual Studio. Knowledge of microservices architecture, large-scale applications, and testing methodologies. Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure. Ability to lead and mentor junior developers. Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred skills include Kubernetes, MVC, continuous integration, and Azure cloud experience. Work Experience: Experience with large-scale C# .NET and MS SQL Server projects. Experience in finance risk technology, especially in Middle or Front Office risk teams. Knowledge of credit and market risk reporting and analytics tools. Personal and Other Qualifications: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Proactive, results-oriented, and detail-focused. Fast learner with excellent communication skills. Willingness to work onsite 4 days and remotely 1 day at 1251 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY. The role offers a base salary between $134K - $165K, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, including health, retirement, education, and paid leave.
