Key Responsibilities: Lead AI-driven technical innovation by architecting and implementing essential systems for AI product innovation and vibe coding platforms, ensuring project collaboration among multiple engineers. Champion customer obsession by understanding developer workflows across Amazon Music teams, designing scalable tools, APIs, and frameworks that remove barriers. Invent and simplify by automating manual processes, designing intuitive technical solutions that simplify complex AI capabilities while balancing speed of delivery with strong architectural foundations. Drive engineering best practices by cultivating a culture of robust software development, leading design reviews, and ensuring all code contributions meet high coding standards. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to address challenges where the business direction is clear, but technology strategies are yet to be defined. Resolve complex problems via both technical and non-technical solutions, including operational excellence initiatives and mentorship programs. Scale technical impact by mentoring multiple engineers, providing guidance for career growth, and fostering the adoption of AI development best practices across Amazon Music. About Our Team: Our mission is to empower Amazon Music engineers through advanced AI agents and automated workflows, transforming creative ideas into customer-delighting features while alleviating repetitive tasks. We manage two platforms: an experimental AI product innovation platform that explores AI-powered music discovery and a vibe coding AI agent that revolutionizes how developers create software. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of experience in at least one programming language. 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems. Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Expertise in machine learning, AI fundamentals, and demonstrated experience architecting and implementing AI frameworks and complex AI/ML systems at scale. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
