Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated
Senior Network Engineer
to design, implement, and support our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise with
Juniper (including SRX series) ,
FortiGate ,
Aruba , and
Ruckus
networking equipment and be capable of architecting and troubleshooting complex routing environments across data centers and branch offices.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance, secure, and resilient network solutions across corporate offices and data centers. Lead the implementation and lifecycle management of Juniper EX/QFX/MX and SRX series devices, FortiGate firewalls, and Aruba/Ruckus wireless infrastructure. Configure and maintain routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and static routes across core, distribution, and edge environments. Develop and enforce network segmentation and security policies, including integration of Juniper SRX and FortiGate firewalls for perimeter and internal controls. Manage Layer 2/3 networking, including VLAN design, LACP, STP, VRFs, and IP address management. Monitor network health, diagnose performance issues, and resolve outages using SNMP, syslog, flow tools, and real-time diagnostics. Document network architectures, change management records, and operational runbooks. Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and high-availability configurations. Collaborate with systems, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise and data center environments. Hands-on experience with Juniper EX/QFX/MX series switches and SRX series firewalls. Strong working knowledge of FortiGate NGFWs, including advanced security features and HA design. Deployment and operational experience with Aruba and Ruckus wireless platforms. Expertise in core routing and switching technologies: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRRP, Layer 2/3 topologies. Proficiency in network analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetBox). Experience with high-availability design, failover strategies, and disaster recovery planning. Scripting and network automation experience (e.g., Ansible, Python) is a strong plus. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Preferred Certifications
JNCIP or JNCIE (with SRX focus preferred) Fortinet NSE 4/5/6+ Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) Ruckus Wireless Certifications CCNP or equivalent enterprise certification
