We are looking for a skilled
Maintenance Mechanic
to join our Yuba City team. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance and repair across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems—ensuring operational integrity and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, pumps, conveyors, and building infrastructure.
Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools; recommend and perform repairs or part replacements.
Collaborate with maintenance leads to schedule downtime and coordinate repairs.
Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, labor, parts, and equipment status.
Support emergency repairs and maintenance as required.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory standards.
Mentor junior technicians and assist with training.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational certification preferred.
2+ years of mechanical or maintenance experience (industrial, commercial, or municipal).
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic electrical, plumbing, and welding skills are a plus.
Valid CA driver’s license; Class A or relevant certifications may be beneficial.
Preferred:
Experience in industrial or water/wastewater treatment environments.
Familiarity with scheduled maintenance systems (CMMS).
OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent.
