As a member of our world-class team, you will: Enhance operations and provide novel solutions to complex cloud issues. Maintain cutting-edge cloud computing infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services EKS, ECR, and serverless offerings. Proactively identify and resolve system variances before they impact major services worldwide. Dive deep into service inter-dependencies and region-specific configurations to troubleshoot critical problems. Collaborate with industry-recognized Amazon distinguished engineers to enhance your knowledge. This position demands that the candidate possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. After starting, you will also need to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph or an equivalent clearance for each government agency involved with AWS work. A typical day as an Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer (ADCE) will involve coordinating with internal service teams, managing system health and status, troubleshooting configuration and networking issues, supporting complex customer challenges, influencing system design improvements, and providing on-call support when necessary. Compensation for this role varies based on market location and related factors, with the base pay ranging from $105,200 to $188,200 annually, supplemented by potential equity, sign-on bonuses, and other benefits.
