2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants JOB SUMMARY This job is responsible for the configuration, rollout, and ongoing support of the assigned Epic application(s). Responsibilities include business/systems analysis, requirements definition and documentation, systems design, and problem resolution. The Senior Epic analyst communicates with end-users of the system to understand and resolve complex issues and implement solutions. Senior Analysts are subject matter experts in their area of knowledge. Company enGen Job Description ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements and maintains Epic software. Develops and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience. Supports and maintains environment or applications using advanced knowledge of the application(s) and technologies in the environment while recommending enterprise-level solutions. Using advanced knowledge of Epic, configures changes within the system to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows. Makes decisions that refine and improve current practices; develops new approaches and recommends solutions by researching best practices and assessing new technologies or functionality. Contributes to/manages medium to large moderately complex projects that are broad in scope and require depth of knowledge. Updates stakeholders as appropriate on a timely basis regarding progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues. Conducts problem-solving and root cause analysis to complete assignments and visualize, articulate, and solve moderately complex problems. Participates in and may lead continuous improvement initiatives. Guides and assists with training less experienced Analysts. May serve as a subject-matter expert in the assigned module(s). EXPERIENCE Required: 5 years experience with systems administration experience within one or more Epic environments. Preferred 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry SKILLS Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks with varying levels of complexity Excellent customer service skills Uses critical thinking skills for assigned tasks Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal teamwork. Strong organizational skills in managing priorities Demonstrates knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks EDUCATION Required: Associates degree Substitutions 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS Required: Epic Application Certification within 6 months. Travel Requirement 0% - 25% Position Type Office- or Remote-based Physical, Mental Demands and Working Conditions Position involves occasional training, travel, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
