Roles & Responsibilities: Manage the maintenance and daily operations of the Data Centre facilities with the objective of achieving uninterrupted availability at all times and to ensure the fulfilment of our service commitment to customers. Support service delivery to ensure contracted service level agreements and key performance indicators are met or exceeded. Lead and manage team of 24/7 to deliver project related to maintenance, upgrade and expansion / optimisation of the Data Centre infrastructure Act as the site primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involving communication and relationship management. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and corrective actions for identified issues. Responsible for the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation. Establish and maintain operational, maintenance, and emergency procedures to ensure the Data Centre remains in optimal condition. Lead emergency response procedures in case of power outages, equipment failures or other disruptions. Maintain compliance of all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including its documentation of all procedures and systems. Lead and manage Data Centre audits. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on Data Centre operations smooth integration of Data Centre operations with other critical functions and on maintenance and upgrade of equipment and systems. Ensure safety protocols are established and enforced to protect personnel and equipment. Monitor the performance of facility equipment, driving continuous improvements for greater operational efficiency. Generate monthly progress reports and track deliverables. Any other work necessary for effective operations of the Property. Job Requirements: Degree from recognised tertiary establishment in Engineering or equivalent. At least 5 years of working experience in Data Centre Facility Management/Environment Possess broad-based knowledge and skills in the areas of building technology, mechanical and electrical services and facilities management Good knowledge and understanding of Data Centre infrastructure systems with experiences working on mission critical systems such as UPS, Chiller, CRAC, Thermal/Fan Wall Cooling, Electrical HT/LT, Fire protection, Water Detection systems, Fire Suppression systems, PDU, CCTV, Card Access System etc. Have good working knowledge for best practices in fire/workplace safety, management, control, and operating a Data Centre hosting services Possess Data Centre Certification such as Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) Strong leadership qualities and analytical skills to assess situation and determine the best course of action Good interpersonal soft skills and verbal & written communication. Good working knowledge and understanding of maintenance and contracts.
