Purpose of Role The purpose of this role is to ensure the reliability and operation of machinery and auxiliary equipment in a plastic injection molding facility. The Maintenance Technician will complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule, and complete reactive troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. This individual will work in a manner that keeps themselves and their team members safe, while finding opportunities to improve work processes.
What You'll Do: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on injection molding and extrusion equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Keep the facility running safely and smoothly with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical support Partner with contractors for installations and building system updates Support equipment upgrades, kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives Help sustain a clean, organized, and efficient production floor (5S standards) What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school with a focus on mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics or pneumatic systems repair a plus Experience with injection molding or pneumatic conveying systems preferred
Familiarity with chillers, HVAC, air compressors, and fire suppression systems
Proficiency using multimeters, hand tools, and
mechanical/electrical
schematics
Self-starter with a can-do attitude and a strong commitment to safety
Bonus points for welding, machine shop skills, or lean manufacturing experience
