Part-time (24 hours per week) Days:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call! Job Summary We are looking for a caring and empathetic Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to assist in patient care across all age groups in our ambulatory clinic. In this role, you will be a key advocate for patients, collaborating with them and their care teams to ensure their comfort throughout their healthcare journey at Sanford. You will have opportunities to build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues, along with paths for professional growth and development. Key Responsibilities: Collect subjective and objective health data from patients or caregivers and communicate findings to the healthcare provider. Implement the patient’s care plan under the guidance of the provider. Clearly communicate the provider’s instructions for care to patients or their caregivers. Participate in comprehensive patient care, including preventive care, health maintenance, treatment, and follow-up. Perform vital sign assessments, prepare patients for examinations, observe and report symptoms, and conduct point-of-care testing. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Prior healthcare experience is preferred. Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
