As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, you have the opportunity to work closely with our patients and dedicated Occupational Therapists to provide essential rehabilitative care and enhance the quality of life for those in our community. This role offers: Competitive salary ranging from $33 to $35 per hour, paid bi-weekly. A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance. Key Responsibilities: Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering rehabilitative services to patients. Guide patients through exercises and activities aimed at improving strength, balance, and mobility. Document patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist effectively. Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques and proper equipment usage. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment. Follow all healthcare and safety protocols diligently. Engage in ongoing training to enhance your professional skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Associate's degree in an Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Valid state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Understanding of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices. Physical stamina to assist patients and perform necessary tasks. Capability to lift and move equipment for patient support.
