Role Overview

This position is part of a forward-thinking technology strategy and R&D team focused on architecture, innovation, and security. The team plays a key role in shaping and delivering technology solutions aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

As a Principal Technology Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to evaluate and implement emerging technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing and testing solutions, managing lab environments, and contributing to the organization's technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, testing, and implementation of technology platforms for hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure Define success metrics and testing criteria for new technologies Conduct proof-of-concept and stress testing to assess feasibility and performance Collaborate across departments to provide technical guidance Develop documentation and knowledge-sharing resources Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines with CI/CD, IaC, and automated security tools Qualifications

CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline) GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, FluxCD) Observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana) Cloud-native platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, Azure Containers) Networking and security (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, certificate-based auth) Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi) Authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, MFA) Database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, MSSQL) Familiarity with governance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, Reg SCI, CFTC 99.18) Education & Experience

Preferred: 10+ years in senior engineering roles focused on DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure Required: Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools Required: Experience with secure CI/CD pipeline design Required: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) Required: Knowledge of hybrid cloud and traditional data center technologies Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline

Salary: $220,000 - $230,000 base salary with a discretionary 25% bonus.
