Position Summary:

Control Panel Assembly Tech is required to perform day-to-day functions in the department, building industrial electrical control panels.

Primary Duties:

Assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels. Build electrical panels and assemblies to UL508A specifications. Ability to read and understand electrical codes and standards (i.e. NEC, UL, etc). Test and troubleshoot control panels to ensure proper functionality. Assemble per instructions or drawings, test, and label as required. Basic warehouse functions, shipping, receiving, and kitting of jobs. Basic Requirements:

Experience assembling and fabricating control panels, in electrical testing, troubleshooting, or quality assurance within an industrial setting. Must be proficient in reading electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, and specifications. General understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations governing control panel design, installation, and testing (e.g., NEC, UL 508A). In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, control panel components, and industrial automation technologies. Power-On Testing: Execute comprehensive power-on tests on industrial control panels to verify proper functioning of electrical components, circuitry, and control systems. Compliance Verification: Verify that control panels meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Certification(s) in electrical testing, safety, or quality assurance. Must be over the age of 21, as driving is required with valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines. Multiple years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable. Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive. Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring and climbing ladders as needed. Work environment may vary including warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements. $25.00 - $30.00/hour, depending on experience.
