Epic Applications Analyst
with a focus on
Ambulatory and Healthy Planet
to join our dynamic Epic team in Charlotte. This role plays a critical part in supporting our ambulatory team and driving efficient workflows.
Essential Functions:
Support the build, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, specifically related to
Ambulatory and Healthy Planet
processes. Contribute to system upgrades, testing, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and performance standards are met. Work with
clinical staff, IT teams, and population health departments
to tailor EPIC tools to their needs. Ensure compliance with CMS, NCQA, and payer program requirements. Configure Healthy Planet tools to meet
value-based care
and
risk-based contract
needs. Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding understanding of
population health
principles and quality metrics. Experience with
data analysis, SQL, and EPIC reporting tools . Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into operational solutions. Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on population health. Epic Certification-
Healthy Planet and or Ambulatory . Background in
nursing, public health, healthcare IT, or analytics . Familiarity with
clinical workflows, risk stratification models , and social needs assessments.
