IT Support Specialist
Location:
The IT Support Specialist will assist the Information Technologies team with tasks related to end user technical support and troubleshooting. This includes workstation builds, Office365 administration, printing, telecommunications, and amazing customer service.
Job Description: Provide excellent customer service that minimizes downtime or eliminates inconvenience for Transact + CBORD associates with approved hardware and 3rd party software products Escalate issues to immediate Manager, Systems Engineers, or Information Security as necessary - providing proper documentation of actions taken prior to escalation Provide support consistent with corporate policies including but not limited to: user support, printer management, user account administration, and disk space management Assist with the managing of our company-wide E-mail system (Microsoft Office 365) Assist with imaging and deploying workstations of both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS Design and present basic to advanced training classes on various software for Transact + CBORD employees Document IT Support Services procedures and run books Document activities and solutions in our ticketing system Qualifications:
Minimum High School diploma preferred 1-3 years of experience in relevant industry preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Working knowledge of Apple MacBook and MacOS Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office Hands-on experience with PC maintenance Experience with system management solutions, OS deployment tools, and full disk encryption tools a plus. Other Requirements:
Strong customer service skills Good writing and communication skills Good human relations and interpersonal skills Good time management, decision-making, and organization skills Good ability to multi-task and change tasks and focus, as needed Self-directed with ability to meet deadlines and quality expectations Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted Occasional local travel may be required Position requires a high level of thoroughness and accuracy
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
