Job Description
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Required Skills: • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Server DHCP & DNS Management • 5+ years of experience with Windows Active Directory and Azure AD Identity Administration • 5+ years of Microsoft Windows Server administration • 5+ years of experience managing Enterprise Print Servers • 3+ years of experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting • 3+ years of experience administering Azure File Services
Preferred Skills: • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive access (authentication, permissions, licensing) • 3+ years of experience administering Exchange Online • 3+ years of experience in Information Security • 2+ years of experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation
Overview: This position supports the Messaging, Collaboration, and Security Services (MCS) group and is responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, documentation, and security of IT systems and cloud-based infrastructure. Core responsibilities focus on Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure, and various collaboration tools like SharePoint and Teams. The role requires a strong technical foundation in server administration, scripting, and identity management
Job Responsibilities: • Receive, analyze, and implement DNS record requests. • Install and maintain MCS-supported systems including file/print servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure File Services, and SharePoint. • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure system configurations minimize service disruptions. • Research, design, and administer monitoring, antivirus, backup, recovery, and support tools. • Work with supervisors to implement and optimize new/existing cloud services. • Collaborate on planning, testing, and supporting infrastructure services with the systems administration team. • Analyze Help Desk tickets (Tier 2-3), resolve issues remotely or escalate as needed.
