Job Summary:

SEGA of America Licensing is searching for a

Licensing Product Development Coordinator, Publishing

to support Publishing submissions. This candidate will be primarily responsible for assisting product development in Publishing for Sonic the Hedgehog.

The ideal individual will have some product development experience, preferably in Consumer Products, familiarization with the comic book medium, and would have a keen desire to learn more about and grow within the licensing business and an interest in publishing. This person would be adept at multi-tasking and comfortable with shifting dates and priorities. They should be an organizedandflexible problem solver who takes ownership and responsibility of tasks and can act independently or as part of a team as required by the circumstance.

Must possess the ability to work well with all levels of internal teams including Marketing, Mobile, Animation, Management, international teammates, and outside business partners.Should also be able to manage a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Development: Execute day-to-day tasks with publishing licensees and internal teams related to product development of assigned partners and categories. Will also handle ad hoc projects as delegated by supervisor. Ensure timely review and approval of products by working closely with internal and external partners to manage the product development processes from concept to production for assigned licensees. Support the review of manuscripts and all stages of artwork, copy, and brand assurance to meet Product Development timeline milestones with a focus on superb product execution, detailed communication consistency, and a keen knowledge of brand guidelines. Clearly review and consolidate all feedback for both internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with Licensing business managers to ensure product assortment is aligned with the publishing strategy and within the contractual granted rights for assigned licensees. Work with internal partners in Creative, Marketing/Brand, and Production to facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Assist communication with licensing translator and the approval stakeholders in both US and Japan. Manage samples in office and distribute product samples to internal stakeholders as well as manage internal product requests including shipping. Organize and manage digital copies of final publishing products and all relevant assets needed for record keeping on internal servers. Maintain invoices and payments through internal payment system. Licensing Expo:

Lead the task force to plan, organize, and execute company participation in annual Licensing Expo event. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, sales, and design teams) and external partners to ensure seamless execution. Software and Tools Management:

Utilize, update and maintain applicable tools in the Licensing software, Dependable Solutions, including historical clean-up of product submissions. Facilitate the onboarding process for new users within Dependable Solutions software, ensuring proper configuration and access. Maintain and organize the SEGA content library with new assets as well as being responsible for facilitating distribution to external partners. Brand Assurance:

Review and assess counterfeit product takedown requests to ensure compliance and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

Have a passion for Comic Books and Publishing. Bachelor's Degreeor Equivalent 2+ years of experience in licensing publishing product development approval and brand assurance Basic comprehension of licensing publishing product development cycle from concept to production Excellent relationship builder with collaborative team player mentality Clear written and oral communication skills Team player and collaborator Resourceful, takes initiative and self-starter Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to operate autonomously & efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Limited travel required (annual trade shows, etc) Preferred Skills:

Familiar with online asset management systems Applicable experience in entertainment licensing specifically General understanding of character licensing Familiarity to Sonic the Hedgehog Familiarization with the comic book medium
