Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below. Driving Marketing Strategy, Agency Operations & Team Leadership at wedü + Granite River Studios We’re looking for a technically-minded project manager who can bring organization and forward motion to complex digital projects. You won’t be designing or coding — but you must understand how those pieces are best executed and fit together, and you’ll play a critical role in aligning agency goals with project goals. In this role, you’ll work with team members who are strategists, creatives, developers, and digital marketers to further scope projects from their initial defined state and move them through a defined agile and sprint process. These projects include websites, e-commerce and web-based applications. Your assistance in connecting a project’s strategic goals and client goals with technical capabilities in areas of functional specs and technical requirements will be critical to project success. You’ll collaborate closely with the internal team to ensure projects are planned and built for success — on time, on budget, and aligned with both agency and client goals. What You’ll Do Serve as the technical PM for web modifications, web builds, and web-based application builds — ensuring timelines, budgets, strategies, and deliverables stay aligned across internal teams. Collaborate with account leads and strategists to translate business goals into functional project requirements. Work with third-party support teams, as necessary, to meet technical connectivity requirements and integrations. Refine scopes of work after securing projects following RFP or proposal stages — identifying assumptions, risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs. Confirm proper estimates and resource allocations. Contribute to site hierarchy and sitemap planning; support wireframe development using tools like Relume, when needed. Lead internal planning and sprint workflows, facilitate handoffs between teams, and maintain clarity around who’s doing what and when. Partner with developers to plan architecture, troubleshoot blockers, and assess technical effort. Manage project documentation and communications — from briefs and milestone tracking to client updates and decision logs. Oversee QA processes to ensure each deliverable is reviewed for functionality, accuracy, and alignment with specs. Coordinate with client-facing account managers to ensure all handoffs are seamless and well-informed. Ensure that projects are both efficient for the agency and impactful for the client — balancing business, creative, and technical success metrics. What You Bring 3–6 years of experience managing digital or web projects — agency, SaaS, or product-side experience welcome. Experience within marketing technologies is ideal. Strong understanding of web development concepts (CMS, APIs, databases, hosting, frontend/backend workflows) without needing to code. Familiarity with project scopes, requirements gathering, and refining loosely defined client requests into structured technical plans. Experience with common CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and a understanding of staging/deployment workflows. Confidence working in wireframing tools (e.g., Relume, Figma, Miro) to support UX team direction as it relates to project scopes. Understanding of resources necessary to achieve project technical needs across a variety of technologies – platforms such as WordPress and native languages or frameworks such as PHP, Laravel, React. Again, no coding is necessary – this is only understanding to the degree necessary for communications and planning. A strong instinct for balancing agency resources and timelines with client expectations and strategic goals. Exceptional organization and communication skills — you bring structure to ambiguity and keep people moving in the same direction. Experience with modern project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, etc.). A proactive, solution-first mindset — you flag risks early, propose alternatives, and always look for smoother paths to success. Bonus Points For Familiarity with hosting tools like WP Engine, Cloudflare, cPanel, etc. The Details: This is afull-time role based in our Manchester office. Expect to be in the office3–4 days per week. Salary range:$55,000–$70,000 depending on experience. Benefits Include: Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with match Flexible schedule and hybrid work options About Us: We’re a collaborative crew of strategists, coders, creatives, and marketers who build smart tools, high-performing websites, and brand experiences that drive engagement and growth.
