and fosters continuous learning. Position Summary
The Veterinary Technician is a key member of our medical team, assisting doctors, the technician manager, and surgical director to deliver exceptional care. You'll support procedures ranging from routine wellness to advanced surgeries, provide hands-on nursing care, and help improve overall hospital efficiency by using your full technical skillset.
Key Responsibilities
Consistently model and uphold

Provide

patient and client care
Obtain and record patient histories accurately
Collect samples and perform in-house lab testing (hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, etc.)
Administer prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments
Monitor and maintain anesthesia during procedures
Provide post-op nursing care, administer fluids and blood products
Prepare patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery
Assist in diagnostic procedures and imaging (radiographs, ECG, ultrasound)
Maintain anesthesia machines and surgical monitoring equipment
Educate clients on pet care, preventive medicine, nutrition, and post-operative recovery
Maintain and restock inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
Comply with all OSHA, DEA, and state regulations related to patient and staff safety
Work collaboratively across all departments to support a
positive and respectful team culture
Required Skills and Experience
Proven
anesthesia monitoring and surgical support experience
Strong communication and client education skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
Competence with veterinary terminology, medication handling, and laboratory procedures
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and mentorship
Ability to lift and handle patients up to 50 lbs (with assistance for larger pets)
Certification preferred (CVT, LVT, or RVT), but not required
