Live What You Will Do As the Executive Director, Customer Analytics, you will lead a high-performing analytical team that leverages critical thinking to solve problems and uncover insights, enabling Amgen brands to serve more patients. You will oversee secondary and subnational analytics, including strategic targeting, specialty pharmacy/PSP analytics, and reporting across the US organization. Reporting to the VP of Customer Data & Analytics, you will be a key member of the leadership team, championing insights-driven strategies, evidence-based decision making, transparency, and innovation. You must manage large teams and influence complex internal groups, coaching best practices, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of trust, diversity, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and other functions is essential to identify strategic questions and drive business impact.
Lead analytics teams to deliver actionable insights for the US portfolio.
Partner with senior leaders to influence strategic priorities and encourage evidence-based decisions.
Advise US leadership with unbiased recommendations and trade-offs.
Align team resources with business priorities, develop action plans, and ensure quality and reliability of analytics products.
Deepen understanding of business and market dynamics within analytics teams.
Promote adoption of best practices and new methodologies.
Encourage sharing of analytics best practices across the portfolio.
Develop team members and create clear career paths.
Lead strategic projects shaping organizational direction.
Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize organizational impact.
Deliver effective reporting solutions for various organizational levels.
Win What We Expect Of You We seek a leader with:
Doctorate + 6 years, Masters + 10 years, or Bachelors + 12 years of analytics experience in biotech/pharma.
6+ years of managerial or leadership experience managing teams or projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Executive presence to influence SVP/EVP level staff.
Experience building high-performing teams and delivering results.
Strategic thinking across portfolios and geographies.
Stakeholder management skills.
Business acumen in pharmaceutical markets.
Strong communication skills for complex concepts.
Knowledge of analytics approaches, including descriptive and predictive analytics.
Experience managing outside vendors.
Championing innovative analytics methodologies.
