Staffmark
Join Staffmark as a Winding and Assembly Technician, where you'll play a key role in building electric motors by inserting copper wire coils and connecting jumpers and lead cables. This position requires an intermediate understanding of motor specifications, including BOMs and winding instruction sheets.
Pay: $25/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities:
Interpret motor specs to perform winding and assembly Insert insulation and copper wire coils into stator cores Pre-form coil ends and trim phase separators Connect jumpers/lead cables via soldering or crimping Hand lace coils and ensure quality standards Assist other areas and cross-train in winding tasks Keep workspace clean and organized (5S) Meet weekly productivity targets (70%-85%+) Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2-6 years motor winding experience in manufacturing Basic knowledge of electrical instruments related to motors preferred Strong mechanical skills and hand coordination Ability to read and interpret BOMs and technical drawings with guidance Able to stand 8-10 hours/day, 5-6 days/week Capable of lifting, pulling, pushing, and performing repetitive hand tasks
