Job Overview

The Integrated Manufacturing Systems (IMS) group is embarking on a greenfield project to develop a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the production of fiber ribbon cable. Utilizing a modern tech stack that includes .NET 8, Razor Pages, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap framework, C#, and MS SQL Server for the backend, this initiative aims to streamline and enhance the manufacturing process. Development & Configuration Responsibilities Framework & Tooling: Use Razor Pages with Bootstrap for a responsive mobile first design Environment Setup: Manually configure environment variables in Azure App Services. Ensure AJAX folders are uploaded and paths adjusted for production vs. local environments. Design applicable backend SQL tables for efficient data storage, retrieval and reporting. Create necessary integrations with applicable REST APIs Azure Infrastructure & Deployment App Services: manage applicable environment settings, deployment slots / pipelines Key Vault: manage applicable key vault credentials and secrets Testing & Troubleshooting Connectivity Validation: Test SQL Server and printer connections from both local and Azure environments. Address DNS or firewall issues as needed Error Handling: Implement robust error handling Integration testing: Verify end to end functionality, and API integrations Documentation & Collaboration Technical Notes: Maintain internal documentation to track environment-specific configurations and tech decisions Team Coordination: Collaborate with IT, cloud architecture and platform teams for approvals, ticketing, and infrastructure changes. Collaborate with process engineering, quality and operations teams for requirements gathering and end user testing Qualifications :

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
