Full-Time Director of General Services . The Director provides strategic and operational leadership for Plant Operations, Facilities & Maintenance, Security, Environmental Services (EVS/Housekeeping & Laundry), and Risk Management across the campus. The role ensures safety, compliance, efficiency, and a high-quality environment for residents, staff, and visitors. It acts as a strategic partner within the leadership team to drive organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute capital and operating plans aligned with organizational strategy and financial goals. Lead campus master planning, energy initiatives, and renovation projects. Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs and work order systems. Oversee housekeeping, laundry, waste management, and security operations. Develop and manage departmental budgets, control costs, and negotiate vendor contracts. Supervise staff, hire, train, and provide ongoing coaching. Collaborate with other departments to ensure service excellence. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years in facility operations and risk management, with at least 3 in leadership roles. Experience with safety compliance, infection control, and capital projects. Strong leadership, budget, and project management skills. Proficiency with building automation and management software.
