iOS Software Engineer
Role Overview: Seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to design and develop mobile applications that support core medical device functionality. This role contributes to improving lives globally through innovative health technology. Key Responsibilities: Design and build native iOS applications Implement app requirements and maintain detailed design documentation Collaborate with software testing teams to ensure high-quality deliverables Develop automated unit and integration tests Participate in design, code, and test reviews Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency Propose and implement app enhancements for long-term sustainability Required Qualifications: 35+ years of iOS development experience, ideally at a senior level 12+ years of experience with Swift, including UIKit and SwiftUI Strong understanding of software development principles and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC) Experience in SDK and backend development Solid experience with Unit Testing (XCTest); familiarity with Espresso Testing is a plus Professional experience in Agile environments using tools like Jira and Confluence Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions) Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and GitFlow High attention to detail in documentation, testing, and coding practices Preferred Qualifications: Bluetooth development experience Industry experience in FDA-regulated environments or enterprise-level companies Strong documentation skills to support regulatory and internal standards Objective-C knowledge is a plus Long-term tenures at previous companies preferred; candidates should be able to explain any short stints Skills: iOS, MVVM, MVC, SDK Backend Development, Swift, Storyboard, Interface Builder, UI/UX, Objective-C Additional Skills & Qualifications: Espresso Testing Bluetooth integration and development Industry experience involving FDA compliance or enterprise-level documentation standards Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Experience Level: Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
