Global Partner Go-To-Market (GTM), Programs, & Operations
(GPO) organization within GPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments. In this role, the Director, Partner Marketing Americas: SME&C SI, will engage with a defined set of Channel partners in your region. You’ll develop and execute marketing strategies aligned to business goals and target markets, leveraging Microsoft’s tools, best practices, and resources. You’ll ensure effective execution, optimize incentives and investments, and adjust plans based on insights and KPIs. You’ll build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor to partners, and grow your marketing skills, business acumen, and industry knowledge—contributing to your team’s and Microsoft’s success. Champion Security within Americas Channel Partner Marketing. Clarify Partner Strategy through Solution Plays, and support the landing and execution of partner programs, marketing investments, and activities. Define, land, and track key offerings and calls-to-action across Security Solution Plays. Lead the Security monthly business reviews and represent Americas Channel Partner Marketing in regional and global Security business reviews. Lead the overall marketing strategy, review, and end-to-end execution including campaign development and solution launch plans aligned to partner solutions built for Microsoft cloud. Create ‘better together’ messaging, marketing content, offers, incentives, and coordinate joint PR and event marketing. Understand partner’s business, plans, and objectives in partnership with global and field Partner Manager personnel. Ensure alignment of GTM activities and marketing plans to deliver impact and progress against goals. Ensure measurement KPIs and OKRs are in place to track impact to sales pipeline, Microsoft Cloud revenue, campaigns, or offers. Manage marketing budget effectively to ensure high ROI. Leverage global investments to build scalable GTM programs to maximize partner impact. Use technical and industry expertise to become a thought leader and trusted advisor to partners. Land and lead the creation of new capabilities and opportunities through partner experiences to provide a competitive advantage and communicate key product messages. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years of sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience. 7+ years experience in a customer and/or partner facing role, dealing with diverse audiences including customers, partners (ISV, SI, start-ups, MSPs), strategy, marketing, or business development. 6+ years experience working directly with partner ecosystems, providing business and technical guidance, and securing their commitment to use solutions. Experience with Security technologies and partner work to extend cloud solutions. Ability to articulate business and technical value of security services to senior decision makers. Experience creating demand generation campaigns, workshops, metrics, and sales readiness initiatives. Experience with storytelling, advocating for partners, and creating partner experiences linked to business success. Proven ability to propose, create, and manage executive proposals and presentations. Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years relevant experience. Experience with Microsoft Security technologies and partner development. Product management and modern marketing practices, including content creation and messaging skills. Experience in a highly matrixed environment leading program teams or workstreams. Partner Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. Specific locations like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City have a range of USD $165,600 - $272,300.
