Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Looking for a Lead PHP/Laravel Developer for a full time role in Chicago. The position is onsite 5 days a week and requires candidate to be local for onsite interviews. Essential Job Functions Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable software solutions. Architect and maintain high-performance databases, ensuring data integrity and system optimization. Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implement solutions. Manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption when beneficial. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong expertise in MySQL or MS SQL, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Proven experience working in Agile environments, utilizing tools like Jira and Monday.com. Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, optimizing for performance and scalability.
