Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Looking for a Lead PHP/Laravel Developer for a full time role in Chicago. The position is onsite 5 days a week and requires candidate to be local for onsite interviews. Essential Job Functions • Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable software solutions. • Architect and maintain high-performance databases, ensuring data integrity and system optimization. • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implement solutions. • Manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups. • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption when beneficial. • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment. Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in software engineering. • Strong expertise in MySQL or MS SQL, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning. • Proven experience working in Agile environments, utilizing tools like Jira and Monday.com. • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, optimizing for performance and scalability. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
