WIKA Group Monitors and processes inventory and/or MRO requisitions Ensures customer needs are met and customer orders are correctly sequenced to maintain customer satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency Prepare purchase orders and send to suppliers and to departments originating requests Expedite and escalate orders as necessary to prevent supply chain interruptions Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files & reports Works with suppliers to deliver orders via most cost effective delivery method when necessary outside of negotiated methods Ensures purchase order accuracy and works with receiving and parts department to ensure inventory transactions are accurate Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to schedule of production & production support activities Ensures correct parameters are set for each manufactured and purchased item and reports discrepancies to the appropriate department Determines the status of assigned projects, expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions Ensures that all parties are fully cognizant of production status and that planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated Coordinates & expedites the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of required material Confers with production line supervisors to determine progress of work, projected completion dates, and causes of production delays Analyze key data to identify options for managing and developing the overall network and strategy. Including but not limited to decisions to buy vs produce product Interfaces with customer account managers to ensure the needs of the customer are considered Supports operations leadership and inside sales with comprehensive details of current supply chain situation and contingency plans when issues arise Performs ancillary duties as needed
Your activities

Your profile
High school degree or GED equivalent required, 2 year degree in business or accounting preferred Previous experience and exposure to MFG processes and inventory controlling preferred ERP system experience preferred Strong analytical skills- proactive and predictive analytics Strong focus on process definition, implementation and discipline Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of organization Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Access, Power Point and Word Strong organization skills, sense of urgency, and ability to multi-task effectively Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
