As an
IT Security Compliance Analyst
, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's information security and compliance initiatives. You will assist in preparing documentation for SOC 2 audits, monitor system vulnerabilities, and help implement and maintain security controls. This position is ideal for candidates with foundational cybersecurity knowledge and a passion for regulatory compliance. Your contributions will directly impact the organization's ability to meet critical audit and security standards, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and documentation for SOC 2 audits and support related SOC 1 requirements. Monitor and support vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts. Maintain and update IT security policies, standards, and procedures. Track compliance metrics and follow up on outstanding issues using dashboards and reporting tools. Participate in access reviews, asset inventory management, and change control processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote security awareness and best practices. Key Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in IT security, compliance, or audit support. Solid understanding of SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria and reporting framework. Familiarity with SOC 1 compliance and audit processes. Working knowledge of risk assessments, access controls, and incident response procedures. Exposure to security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001. Experience with endpoint protection and vulnerability management tools. Proficiency with compliance tracking tools or GRC platforms; cloud security experience (Azure/Entra, AWS) is a plus. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
