Director, Patient Affordability Analytics
is responsible for leading data assets and strategies to measure Pfizer’s patient affordability and copay programs. The role involves developing analytical strategies and dashboards to support decision-making for patient affordability initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, business acumen, communication skills, and attention to detail. The position collaborates with Pfizer’s GAV Patient Affordability Solutions Team Lead, GAV Patient Service Analytics & Insights Team Lead, and cross-functional teams including Pfizer Digital, Pfizer Patient Services, Pfizer Business Analytics, finance, legal, and compliance. Responsibilities include: Establishing coordination among stakeholders and improving data/analytics platforms. Applying healthcare industry knowledge to optimize program design and implementation. Maintaining systems and records per Pfizer’s SOPs and policies. Using complex data modeling and analytics to inform decisions. Analyzing data, testing assumptions, and presenting insights visually. Using data to uncover new business insights and competitive advantages. Measuring programs, innovating solutions, and supporting sales growth. Responding to ad hoc data needs and owning data quality and stewardship. Collaborating across teams to develop data strategies, integrate data sets, and support program reviews. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred), 8+ years in analytics, experience with healthcare and claims data, and proficiency with tools like SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, and PowerBI. Skills required: strategic thinking, leadership, communication, attention to detail, ability to work with ambiguity, and technical expertise in analytics tools.
