Jobright.ai Microsoft is seeking a Product Manager II for Game Preservation to help advance the future of Xbox Game Compatibility. This role involves managing partner relations, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring a fun gameplay experience by building scalable emulation solutions. Responsibilities: • Developer Advocacy: Gather developer feedback, coordinate team resources to address issues, identify solutions, and drive engineering progress. • Develop Product Subject Matter Expertise: Proactively address complex features or solution-related requests or issues from developers or partners, manage customer expectations and resolve issues. Serve as a reliable point of contact for engineers and developers by facilitating a clear and effective communication pipeline. • Collaboration with External/Internal Stakeholders: Build strategic relationships with developers and internal stakeholders to ensure the best game preservation offering for customers. Collaborate with various Microsoft organizations to lead internal cooperation. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development + OR equivalent experience. • Experience in project or program management, technology services, or consulting. • Experience in strategic account or stakeholder management, end-to-end project or program execution, and delivering presentations and communications. • Experience in game emulation, content preservation, or digital archiving. Preferred: • Storytelling skills with data • Basic understanding of business operations, legal matters and regulatory requirements in the gaming industry • Technical trouble shooting skills • Escalation management skills • Passion for consumer products, gaming, or the entertainment business Company: Microsoft is a software corporation that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells a range of software products and services.
