is seeking a compassionate and motivated
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
to assist Occupational Therapists in delivering therapeutic services that help patients regain independence in daily living activities. The COTA will provide hands-on support for patients across various care settings and promote functional improvement and quality of life.
Job Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist and adjust activities as directed. Lead patients through exercises and therapeutic activities to support their recovery goals. Monitor and document patient progress and report observations to the supervising OT. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment use, safety, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Ensure safe and clean therapy environments and prepare materials needed for sessions. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes. Qualifications
Associate's degree
from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current certification
from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Licensed or eligible for licensure
in the applicable state. Minimum 1 year of COTA experience
preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Ability to follow clinical direction and adapt therapy to individual patient needs. Benefits
