The Enterprise Architect will: Provide design recommendations aligned with long-term IT strategy to support business goals. Develop enterprise-level application and integration solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces. Utilize various platforms to deliver automated systems applications to customers. Offer expertise on application integration across the business. Design, plan, and develop complex, business-critical software solutions, following software engineering best practices. Establish programming standards, procedures, and architectures for code reuse. Maintain in-depth knowledge of programming languages and object-oriented design, applying current development methodologies. Research emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the business. Set standards and guidelines for technology solution design, including multi-platform integration. Serve as a technical expert and resource across disciplines. Review and advise on software/hardware configurations, risks, costs, and impacts on business processes, especially for toll collection systems. Develop documentation frameworks for integrating and implementing technical standards. Act as a consultant, mentor, and change agent within the organization. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: 7-10+ years in various IT areas, with 2-3 years in tolling, ITS, or transit architecture. Desired Skills: Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including advanced features. Strong database concepts, including data modeling and performance tuning. Experience with database administration, security, and recovery. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Hands-on experience with system architecture, technology evaluation, and technical recommendations. Additional Details
