Warehouse Operator - Electric Pallet Jack
The Warehouse Operator - Electric Pallet Jack position involves operating electric pallet jacks to facilitate the movement and preparation of products for shipment. This role is essential in ensuring that goods are accurately picked, sorted, and staged for delivery, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. Responsibilities include: Reading production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed. Pulling and preparing product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Assembling customer orders from stock, stages orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OH or customer pick sheet. Loading, unloading, moving, stacking and staging products and materials using an electric pallet jack or other power equipment. Work experience: High school education or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency. Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment. Previous experience operating warehouse equipment preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment.
