Job Title: Inventory Management - IT and office equipment Location:Washington, DC, 20036 Duration:12 + month contract with a possibility of extension Shift: 1st-8am to 5pm Pay Range: $25/hr - $35/hr Job Description: Inventory Management - IT and office equipment Location: Washington D.C 20036 Scope The contractor shall provide one support staff to perform routine and periodic inventory management tasks, data entry, record maintenance, and reconciliation of office equipment (e.g., laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, etc.) in accordance with agency policies and federal property management regulations. maintains a range of IT and office equipment assets in support of its mission. Regular inventory support is required to ensure compliance with internal controls, safeguard government property, and support financial audits. Objectives • Maintain accurate records of accountable property • Assist in the tagging, tracking, and reconciling of office equipment • Support periodic inventory audits and property reviews • Update asset management databases • Ensure compliance with federal and agency-specific property management policies Requirements/Tasks The contractor shall: 1. Maintain and update asset tracking records in the designated system (e.g., Sunflower, Maximo, or agency-specific tools) 2. Perform physical inventory of equipment at government sites 3. Apply barcode tags and update asset records accordingly 4. Identify and report any missing, misplaced, or unaccounted-for equipment 5. Coordinate with staff for equipment check-in/check-out procedures 6. Support property transfers, excessing, and disposal processes 7. Prepare reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and corrective actions 8. Provide administrative support for documentation and compliance audits Seniority level
