As a MyEyeDr. General Manager, you will cultivate a collaborative working environment with all associate members to provide a personalized eyecare experience for patients. You will achieve this through partnership with your trusted community doctors, vendors, and knowledgeable teams who help our patients see, look, and be their best. As the Office Leader, you will own all aspects of our office success including patient experiences, financial P&L, team member performance and development, and office operations. You’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge and collaborate with your peers and be the ultimate brand ambassador. This role reports to the District Manager. Some evening and weekend shifts are required.
The wage range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The company complies with all state and local wage and hour laws, and the minimum pay range will always be at or above the applicable minimum wage.
You Will
Build and foster a purpose-driven team through recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training, and development.
Have direct responsibility for the financial success of your office by managing behaviors that drive KPI performance.
Collaborate with doctors, support staff, and associate members to provide a seamless patient experience.
Deliver key performance indicators with flawless execution of patient experiences and provide in-the-moment coaching to office leaders and team members.
Maximize optometric partnerships through participation and involvement in coverage, walk-in availability, and doctor availability.
Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnerships and ongoing relationships.
Maintain HR policies and compliance to promote a productive and safe work environment for team members and patients.
Lead performance and development initiatives in partnership with the District Manager for all team members.
Ensure optical merchandise meets standards, patient requirements, and requests.
About You
Undergraduate degree or relevant management experience (Retail/Hospitality preferred).
2+ years in a leadership role as the main decision-maker.
Experience leading two or more employees to achieve sales and operational goals.
Experience in driving business and sales in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Effective communication skills, detail-oriented, and a strong leader embodying MyEyeDr. values.
Exceptional service standards, mentoring skills, and a servant leadership style with a results-driven mindset.
Willingness to learn about the optical industry, products, and services.
Natural leadership ability to coach and inspire teams.
Collaborative team player focused on delivering the best patient experience.
