Based in Colorado, we specialize in personal, corporate, and nonprofit events including weddings, galas, conferences, and more. We’re growing quickly and looking for a passionate professional to grow with us. About the Role
We’re seeking a self-driven, creative, and highly organized Event Operations & Marketing Manager to join our small but mighty team. This person will play a key leadership role in both the execution of events and the management of our internal team, marketing strategy, and operations. You don’t need to have every skill mastered, but you must be eager to learn, take initiative, and help RARE grow and improve. This is not just a job, it’s an opportunity to build a long-term career in a company that values innovation, collaboration, and heart. Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Team Management
Plan and execute a wide range of events from weddings, corporate parties, nonprofit fundraisers, and more Lead and manage the RARE team to ensure quality and consistency across events Review timelines, sit in on client consults, and train/support event coordinators Marketing & Social Media
Manage all RARE social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) Create and implement social strategy to grow audience and engagement Analyze lead sources and trends, support marketing efforts for clients Execute graphic design needs both internally and for clients Association Management
Support and manage nonprofit client relationships and operations Networking & Vendor Relations
Represent RARE at networking events Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and industry professionals Operations & Admin
Assist with internal operations, systems management, and day-to-day tasks to support the team and business What We're Looking For
Someone who is committed to growing with RARE long-term A problem-solver who’s not afraid to take initiative, try new things, and think on their feet A team player who’s comfortable working independently and managing others Strong communication and organizational skills Open to learning and growing—experience is great, but attitude matters most Requirements
40 hours per week (remote, flexible schedule) Must be available for 2-3 weekends/month for events Must provide own equipment (laptop/computer) Event Industry Experience - minimum of 2 years Preferred (but not required) Experience With:
Marketing and Graphic Design Management Experience Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, etc.) Canva Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn Other platforms we use - experience not required: Monday.com Auction Event Software - GiveSmart, Auctria Conference App Software - Whova Layout Software - Prismm, Social Tables Interview Process
