Benefits and Payroll Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Benefits and Payroll Manager to take charge of our employee benefits programs across several global locations. This individual will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving offerings that support employee wellbeing, including health coverage, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and confident working in a cross-functional environment where adaptability and collaboration are key. What You’ll Do: Oversee the day-to-day management of employee benefit plans in the U.S. and internationally, ensuring compliance and consistency across regions. Coordinate with external advisors and vendors to assess plan options, negotiate renewals, and implement enhancements that align with employee needs and business priorities. Analyze benefit usage trends and financial data to recommend adjustments that improve efficiency and employee satisfaction. Serve as the go-to expert for all benefit-related questions, guiding employees through enrollment, claims, and coverage issues with clarity and care. Partner with finance and HR teams to ensure smooth alignment between benefits and compensation processes, including audits and reporting requirements. Lead employee education efforts, including the creation of benefit guides, hosting Q&A sessions, and delivering onboarding support for new hires. Participate in broader people operations initiatives, providing benefits-related input to support a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle. Ensure timely compliance with government regulations and internal standards in all countries where benefits are offered. What You Bring: At least 5 years of experience managing comprehensive benefits programs, ideally within a multi-country setting. Strong understanding of U.S. benefits regulations; experience with international frameworks is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially within small or mid-sized companies. Skilled in evaluating vendor performance and building strong relationships with benefit providers. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insight. Proficiency with tools such as Excel and familiarity with modern HRIS and payroll systems. A helpful, service-oriented approach with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. Nice to Have: Exposure to payroll operations or compensation processes. Experience supporting office or HR administration functions in a collaborative setting.
