POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions within our financial services environment. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Microsoft technology stack to drive innovation and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Solution Architecture:
Design and architect complex software systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. Development & Implementation:
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality code using .NET, C#, Angular, Entity Framework, and other relevant technologies. Cloud Integration:
Leverage Azure cloud services to enhance application scalability, performance, and security. Microsoft Dynamics Expertise:
Utilize your knowledge of Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Portals, and Power BI to develop and integrate business solutions. Database Management:
Design and manage efficient database structures using SQL Server and Entity Framework. Code Quality:
Enforce coding standards and best practices through code reviews and automated testing. Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide estimates, and ensure successful project delivery. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 6+ years of proven experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack. Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning. Essential Technical Skills: .NET Framework and .NET Core C# programming language Angular framework Entity Framework Azure cloud services (e.g., App Service, Functions, Storage) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Apps, Power Portals, and Power BI SQL Server database design and management BENEFITS Competitive salary and performance-based discretionary bonuses Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with annual discretionary employer match Professional development and training opportunities Generous PTO and on-site work environment COMPENSATION O’Brien-Staley Partners compensation will be comprised of a base salary and bonus, with the variable pay typically being a material proportion of total compensation. OSP’s existing variable remuneration scheme ties individuals’ rewards closely to the overall firm performance, to maintain the collegial working environment.
