Ensure that the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) and Fire and Gas (F&G) design requirements for Alaska Capital Projects are met, and that the design is in accordance with AK BU Specifications and in compliance with regulatory and Company standards. Guide the design through the engineering phases of projects to ensure safety in design and operability. Primary Responsibilities

Understand the project schedule and key milestones for assigned projects to provide technical assistance at appropriate times. Support the established single concept as the project progresses through subsequent phases. Ensure regulatory and Company compliance. Provide technical guidance and maintain day-to-day contact with the I&C discipline engineering contractor. Guide the development of I&C and F&G design premises to ensure safety, operability, and integration with existing facilities and modifications. Collaborate with AK BU Technical Authorities to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Review engineering drawings, calculations, and documents prepared by contractors. Advise the Facility Development Engineer (FDE) to support single concept decisions. Frame specifications and seek approval for deviations and criteria from Technical Authorities. Accept engineering deliverables. Participate in developing operation, maintenance, and start-up philosophies. Review Management of Change documentation. Work with other disciplines to ensure coherence and knowledge transfer. Provide engineering support and data for existing facilities. Participate in project risk management and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Contribute to procurement evaluations for instrumentation, control systems, safety systems, F&G, electrical equipment, and major components. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Secondary Responsibilities

Engage in AK BU I&C and F&G engineering collaboration activities, including meetings and training. Participate in Knowledge Sharing via NoE participation. Stay informed about industry opportunities relevant to COPA and COP developments. Required Skills and Experience

BSc Degree in Engineering. Professional Engineer License in Alaska (preferred). Third-party certification of SIS competency (preferred). 5+ years of I&C and F&G design experience in oil and gas. Deep knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ISA S84, IEEE, UL, NEMA, ANSI, and NFPA 72. Leadership Competencies
