System Administrator Level 1 - TS/SCI w/poly clearance

Requires TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Job Responsibilities Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes. Supports IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Offers Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem diagnosis and resolution. Communicates status updates to agency management and internal customers. Supports dispatch system and hardware issues, participating in resolution. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs/loads OS software, troubleshoots, maintains system integrity, and configures network components, implementing OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Qualifications Five (5) years experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years of additional SA experience in lieu of a degree. Required Skills Strong Linux and Bash scripting skills Experience with VMWare Knowledge of NetApp storage solutions Experience with Puppet configuration management Networking skills Benefits Generous paid time off, scaled based on service length, plus eleven paid holidays annually.
