We seek a Senior Research Associate in data science and computational biology to support our Genetic Pharmacology group. The role involves developing oncology analytical platforms, building statistical methods, and contributing to bioinformatics pipelines for preclinical cancer research. Responsibilities
Conduct QC and analyze cancer omics data (including genomics, WES, WGS, RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics). Develop computational and statistical approaches for biomarker discovery, patient stratification, and therapy response prediction. Stay current with cancer biology literature and computational methods in cancer drug development. Pipeline Development
Build and maintain scalable bioinformatics pipelines. Define features for data visualization tools. Develop user-friendly data analytics tools. Participate in digital transformation and ensure data FAIR principles. Project and Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data analysis needs. Manage omics analytics projects. Curate, integrate, and visualize datasets with other teams. Minimum Requirements
M.S. in a quantitative field (Bioinformatics, Data Science, etc.) with 1+ years oncology data analysis experience; or B.S. with 5+ years relevant experience. Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and visualization. Experience developing web apps for data visualization. Ability to integrate large biological datasets. Knowledge of statistical methods for biological data. Strong communication skills for collaboration. Preferred Skills
Experience with biomarker discovery and high-throughput omics data analysis. Skilled in scientific programming and scalable tool development. Experience with genomics and transcriptomics data related to cancer biology. This is a contract position through a third-party agency.
