transformer‑model and CRISPR‑screen fluently Design

scalable processes, metrics, and tools that improve every quarter Advise

founders, hiring managers, and candidates with equal credibility Retain

world‑class teammates by crafting onboarding, growth, and engagement programs that keep top performers thriving and committed Reporting Line This position reports

directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) —a veteran of high‑growth startups and seasoned HR leadership—creating a tight feedback loop between talent strategy, financial stewardship, and people operations. Core Responsibilities Headcount & Planning

— forecast hiring needs and translate them into OKRs and dashboards Full‑Cycle Recruiting

— source and close AI/ML, data‑science, computational‑biology, hardware, and biotech roles Pipeline Building

— cultivate talent pools via open‑source communities, academic labs, Kaggle, and conferences Hiring‑Manager Enablement

— deliver interviewer training, structured rubrics, bias‑mitigation tactics, and feedback SLAs Employer Brand

— craft a narrative that resonates from wet‑lab scientists to LLM researchers Retention & Engagement

— partner with People Ops and managers to build career frameworks, L&D pathways, and recognition programs that drive long‑term retention and belonging Vendor Management

— engage and manage external search partners for surge capacity Offer & Onboarding

— collaborate with Finance & People on compensation, negotiations, compliance, and seamless starts What You Bring 5+ years

technical recruiting, with

3+ years

leading or building the function in a high‑growth deep‑tech or AI company (Seed–Series B) A winning track record closing senior AI/ML, data‑infrastructure, or computational‑biology talent from academia, startups, biopharma, and hyperscalers Proven ATS implementation and dashboarding skills that continually improve time‑to‑fill, quality‑of‑hire, funnel diversity,

and retention Demonstrated success boosting

new‑hire NPS and 1‑year retention
