Assistant Director of Online Admissions Job status:
Non-Exempt Position Summary: This position supports the Pampell Online Division by processing required documents for student files. Additionally, the person in this role ensures compliance with the university course catalog regarding admissions requirements, course registrations, and acceptance policies and decisions. Job Duties: Processes applications for all incoming students. Enters data into student tracking systems and updates all student information in databases such as SCT Banner and Ellucian Recruiter CRM. Maintains accurate communication flow to applicants by updating student information. Gathers necessary information for admission decisions. Reviews open files to facilitate their completion. Controls and maintains records in the student database, correcting and troubleshooting as needed. Communicates the status of the admissions process to students, counselors, and campus staff. Supports admissions counselors with administrative tasks related to applicant files. Collaborates with campus stakeholders regarding student admissions records. Evaluates academic records and transcripts of incoming students. Handles manual registrations for new and returning students. Performs special projects and temporary duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: College degree preferred. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently. Effective teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to operate office equipment such as copiers and fax machines. Excellent organizational and time management skills for managing large workloads. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Quick learner of business software and hardware. Ability to lift or move objects up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Frequent sitting; occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching overhead, and climbing. Frequent communication via speech, hearing, and sight.
